What is Forma by InMode?

Forma is a new technology used for the treatment of wrinkles and fine lines on your face and neck. It is a safe, non invasive skin tightening treatment and uses radiofrequency (RF) technology to stimulate collagen to counteract the effects of aging skin.

‍Forma treatment is an effective skin tightening method, because it is able to use radiofrequency (RF) energy that targets fat cells. It is delivered by a precision application head that is specifically designed to match the contours of your face. Using radiorequency energy, it is able to stimulate the formation of new collagen, the body’s natural skin plumping mechanism, to improve the skin’s elasticity for long-lasting results.

Forma is a FDA-approved treatment. It is painless with only a mild warmth and can be used on any skin type.

 

 

What can I expect during my treatment?

Before you begin a Forma series, photos may be taken for later comparison. During each treatment, your aesthetician will apply a gel to the treatment area and will glide the Forma application head over the selected areas in small, concentrated passes until a specific temperature is reached and maintained. Radiofrequency will deeply penetrate into the skin, heating it. Each treatment head has a temperature gauge built into it to maintain control and make certain that no areas are treated incorrectly. Forma treatments are painless and have no downtime and the entire treatment should take about 30 minutes. After a session, patients may see slight redness in the treated area, which will lessen within a few hours. All patients are able to return to their daily activities immediately after treatment.
